All you have to do is to fill the pet fountain with water, put it in the place you want and plug it in. its filters can be used multiple times (up to two-four weeks). You have to rinse the filter regularly. They cleanse the water as they remove particles, bad tastes and unpleasant odors.

The base model can hold six cups of water. There is an optional reservoir which increases the capacity two times. This will provide enough water for your pet and will make sure there is plenty of water even if you are not at home. There is another optional reservoir for 70 oz that provides even more water.
